Six weeks! A little bloated......
As you can tell from the title of my latest post.........I AM CRAVING THINGS. Kind of. :) First today, I was craving a milkshake.....which is really not that unusual for me to crave sweets even pre-pregnancy, so I just blew it off and went back to typing away in my little office at work. But, then a few hours later I started craving something that normally, I do no like at all: fried chicken. I know I know. A southern woman who does NOT like fried chicken? Gotta be iddin right? Well, no, sorry to say. My grandma makes the BEST fried chicken, so I've heard, and her granddaughter wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole! It's really the bones that creep me out...I love chicken! But, taking it off the bone just gives me the willies! Especially when you can see the little veins sometimes...ugh. But, today I litterally wanted to drive up to KFC (i HATE kfc) and buy some fried chicken and gobble it down. So, I came home and made friend chicken tenders instead! lol No bones, but good chicken. Oklahoma grown chicken too! :) You're welcome farmers.
I also did something else that some might say is disgusting. This morning my wonderful husband made me breakfast, egg whites with cheese melted on top and wheat toast with peanut butter on it. When he was putting the eggs on my plate, some plopped ontop of my toast with the peanut butter. It took me a minute to make it into the kitchen to fetch my plate, so the peanut butter melted on the eggs a little.....and I ate it anyway.....and it was delicious. I knew while I was eating it how gross it must look to an outsider, BUT IT WAS DIVINE! I've been thinking about those peanut butter coated eggs all day!
Anyway!......
I have decided that I should not go grocery shopping by myself for 8 more months. I made the dreaded trip today and wanted to whoop some booty. I just didn't realize how difficult it was to understand the concept of "15 items or less". And then she took FOREVER because her Access card wouldn't work. And you know, I have no problem at all with people being on foodstamps (we were on foodstamps when we were younger. it's ok to admit you need help!), but I DO have a problem when you are on foodstamps, yet you are carrying a Coach purse and your kids are all wearing designer clothes.....AND YOU DROVE AWAY IN AN ESCALADE! OMG!
Happy thoughts again.......
YAY!!! I'M HAPPY AGAIN!
How cute is my husband? *sigh*
That's it for now! Please pray that God will give me some patience.....I seem to have lost mine.
P.S. I just shut Coco's head in the door.....Lord help me.
